Leadership Coaching
Leadership coaching is for anyone who wants to develop their skills and confidence as a leader. I strongly believe that we are all “Leaders” when we take responsibility for ourselves and the world around us.
Leadership involves a deep connection to oneself, having clarity of purpose and values that act as an internal compass for the decisions we make. We then need to have the confidence and skills to influence, form collaborative working relationships and engage others in our vision. We also need to be able to think clearly and systemically, understanding the complex nature of the challenges we are faced with and the wider impact of the decisions we make.
We all have the opportunity to make an impact through the way we live and work. However it takes clarity, courage and dedication to take our ideas, translate them into action and take people with us.
Leadership coaching involves developing self-awareness, self-reflection, self-compassion and ownership.
Transition Coaching
This coaching will bring more clarity and refine your next transition in work and other areas of your life.
The work involved is to identify purpose, strengths, passions & interests, values, vision and goals.
Transition coaching further involves finding fulfilment and meaning by clarifying the best “fit” between a person and work/life choices.
Cross-Cultural Coaching
Living and working in a different country and culture comes with its own set of challenges. Issues that may come up at work and in private may involve leading, motivating self and others, teams, communication styles, confidence, presenting.
I work with you to explore your needs, values and beliefs, build on what’s already working, explore new options, change perspectives and move forward through concrete action steps.
Living, working and raising a family in different countries, I bring a deep understanding to the cross-cultural challenges being faced by my clients.
F.A.Q.
According to the International Coach Federation (ICF), coaching is defined as a partnership with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.”
The purpose of a coaching conversation is to encourage thinking and reflection. It can create the opportunity for people to see things from a fresh perspective. This can help them to develop their capabilities, make sense of their situation and make clear choices about what to do next.
The coach is the facilitator of learning. The coach is not the subject matter expert. The coach has the belief that the individual has the answers to their own problems within them and works with them on the premises that the clients are naturally creative, resourceful and whole.
The client takes the responsibility for identifying their own goals, assessing their areas for development and identifying their own solutions for moving forward. This is achieved by the coach providing a safe, creative and non-judgemental space, asking thought-provoking questions and listening to help the client explore, reflect and make decisions.
Mindset is the cornerstone of coaching. Understanding how clients see themselves, the barriers in front of them and the power within them, helps clients to transform the choosen areas of their life.
